How to use Aluminum foil Round serving plate correctly to avoid food safety issues?

Industry News-

1. Usage scenarios and precautions
Heating method——
Microwave heating:
Specially coated aluminum foil boxes only: pure aluminum foil boxes will reflect microwaves and produce sparks. You need to choose products that are clearly marked "microwave-suitable" and have heat-resistant coatings.
Operation specification: Open the lid and the amount of food must occupy more than 80% of the container volume to avoid explosion caused by sealed heating, and use a ceramic plate to isolate metal contact.
Oven/air fryer: High temperature resistance up to 300℃, suitable for baking or roasting, but avoid direct contact with open flames.

Storage conditions——
Avoid long-term freezing: Aluminum foil may cause micro cracks due to moisture expansion at low temperatures, destroying the barrier properties. It is recommended to transfer to a professional frozen container.
Short-term refrigeration: It can block oxygen after sealing, but it must be eaten within 48 hours to prevent bacterial growth.

Reuse and cleaning——
Aluminum foil Round serving plate: Designed for single use, repeated cleaning can easily cause structural damage and increase the risk of aluminum migration.
Reusable: Gently clean with a neutral detergent to avoid scratching the surface, and check regularly for deformation.

2. Safety risks and countermeasures
Chemical migration——
High temperature or long-term storage of high-salt and high-acid foods will accelerate the dissolution of aluminum, which may affect the nervous system. It is recommended to use glass or ceramic containers to handle such foods.
Physical damage inspection——
Before use, confirm that the lunch box has no perforations or burrs to prevent food contamination or aluminum chips from falling off.

3. Environmental advantages
Fast weathering characteristics: If not recycled, aluminum foil will weather in the natural environment in only 2-3 years, and will not release microplastics or pollute the soil for a long time like plastic.
No toxic residue: The oxide layer on the surface of aluminum foil is chemically stable and does not release harmful substances in a non-strong acid environment, while plastic may precipitate toxic components such as bisphenol A at high temperatures.
100% recyclable and regenerated: The main component of Aluminum foil Round serving plate is aluminum, and its recycling rate can reach more than 50% worldwide, and the recycling process only requires 5% of the energy required to produce new aluminum, greatly reducing carbon emissions. Recycled aluminum can be reused 25 times without losing performance, which is much higher than the limited recycling number of plastic.
The recycling process is simple: aluminum foil lunch boxes do not require complicated sorting, and can be directly melted and recycled after removing food residues. Plastic lunch boxes need to be sorted and processed due to mixed materials (such as PP, PET), and the recycling cost is high.
